In 2019 we worked with Strathblane Community Development Trust to facilitate a very successful Housing Fair.

The event brought together representatives from Rural Housing Scotland, Rural Stirling Housing Association and local architects to showcase different housing options available in Strathblane. The event highlighted new housing ideas like cohousing and launched a community housing needs survey.

A total of 70 people attended the fair across the four hours the event was held and a post-event survey attracted over 160 responses.

We have continued to work with the community, undertaking analysis of the survey responses, and are working with the Trust to develop a strategy for future community housing development.
