We have been working with Ettrick and Yarrow Community Development Company in the Scottish Borders to support the development of five community homes for rent. This involved investigating the feasibility of the conversion of a steading outside Ettrickbridge into housing and workshops.

The community have subsequently purchased the steading with support from the Scottish Land Fund and a full application for grant assistance has been made to the Rural and Islands Housing Fund.
