Northern Ireland Housing Executive

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive is one of the largest social landlords in the UK, managing approximately 85,000 homes across urban and rural areas throughout all of Northern Ireland.

As the strategic housing authority for Northern Ireland, the Housing Executive’s remit also includes assessing housing need and examining housing conditions, managing the Social Housing Development Programme for new social homes with housing association partners, managing the Supporting People programme, providing Homelessness Services, and administering private sector home improvement grants. They are also the Home Energy Conservation Authority for Northern Ireland.

Their vision is one in which housing plays its part in creating a peaceful, inclusive, prosperous and fair society.
